Mineral Exploration in USA & Canada

Bitterroot Resources Ltd.

Bitterroot Resources Ltd. is pursuing precious metals deposits in Nevada and base metals in British Columbia. The Company also holds a 49.9% interest in a nickel/copper exploration joint venture in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

In British Columbia, Bitterroot is exploring the Summit and Summit West zones, which host coincident and zoned zinc/silver/arsenic/molybdenum-in-soil anomalies. The targets are prospective for Carbonate Replacement Deposits in Nicola Group limestone and calcareous sediments. Geophysical surveys (IP and gravity) have been completed. Drilling is planned in 2019, subject to permit revisions and consultation with the Westbank First Nation. The drill targets are road-accessable and located within recently logged areas.

In Nevada, Bitterroot holds an option on the Castle West property in Esmerelda County. The road-accessible Castle West property hosts extensive areas of high-level, low-sulphidation epithermal gold/silver mineralized veins and stockworks within intensely altered tuffs and flows. Previous exploration by Kinross Gold USA Inc. has identified several target areas which are prospective for high-grade bonanza-style and bulk tonnage gold/silver deposits.

In Michigan, Bitterroot owns a 49.9% interest in more than 360 square miles of mineral rights in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Bitterroot's partner Altius Minerals Corporation currently owns 50.1% of the Michigan mineral rights and has the option to earn up to 80% by funding C$7.5 million of exploration expenditures prior to September 2025. Bitterroot and Altius' management have identified several targets which are prospective for Ni/Cu/PGM-bearing sulphide deposits similar to Lundin Mining's high-grade Eagle deposit. Altius is the operator of the Michigan joint venture.
