Bitterroot Resources Ltd.
Bitterroot Resources Ltd. is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Michigan and British Columbia. In Michigan, Bitterroot's wholly-owned subsidiary Trans Superior Resources, Inc. is one of the largest holders of mineral rights in the Upper Peninsula, with interests covering approximately 363 square miles. The Company is in discussions with potential joint venture partners, with the objective of drill-testing several copper and nickel targets later in 2011.
In British Columbia, Bitterroot is actively exploring several projects. At the GK gold property, an initial 6-hole, 1500-metre drill program will test a large intrusion-related gold target in May 2011. The Company also owns 100 percent interests in the Mineral Creek (Au/Ag/Cu/Zn/Pb), North Brenda (Au/Cu/Mo), and SPN (Ag/Cu/Zn) projects.
Management minimizes commodity risk by exploring for several mineral commodities (primarily gold, copper, nickel, and zinc). Political risks and exploration costs are minimized by operating in mining-friendly, road-accessible locations in North America.
