Aeromagnetic Surveys Completed at Windy Gold Project, Nunavut

Bitterroot Resources Ltd.'s (BTT, TSX-V) geophysical contractors have completed airborne magnetic surveys over the Company's 100 percent-owned Windy Gold Project in southern Nunavut.

The survey has identified the continuation of structural and stratigraphic trends which are present on Prosperity Goldfields' adjoining Kiyuk Gold Property. Results from the survey will be used to plan Bitterroot's 2013 exploration program on the Windy property. Drilling by Prosperity Goldfields on its neighbouring Kiyuk property has identified four encouraging zones of gold mineralization, each with multiple gold-bearing intervals. Several encouraging new prospects have also been identified on the Kiyuk property following property-wide surface sampling and prospecting.

A detailed analysis of aeromagnetic, VLF-EM and radiometric data from Bitterroot's high-resolution 5,722 line-kilometre survey is expected to be presented to management in October. The aeromagnetic survey covered a 460 square-kilometre area underlain by Paleoproterozoic sedimentary rocks of the Hurwitz and Kiyuk Groups.

Bitterroot management's current focus for its shareholders is advancement of the Michigan Ni/Cu/PGM targets. Management is assessing various corporate options for the exploration of these road accessible targets. Gravity surveys are planned to begin over selected targets in late September.
